Match the repair to the component
A damaged screen does not by itself justify replacing the window behind it. A window decision depends on the affected component, its condition, and whether a suitable repair is available. Before work starts, the written scope should identify the openings involved and what is being repaired or replaced.

Send one photo of the full window, closer photos of the damage, and the room or side of the house where it is located. If a manufacturer label is safely accessible, include a photo. Tell us how many openings are affected and whether you have trouble operating them.
