$500 First Responder & Veteran Roof Discount

Terms & conditions for the MCO Roofing thank-you credit.

    Last updated: May 13, 2026 · Effective Date: May 13, 2026

    At a Glance

    • $500 credit on a full roof replacement for EMTs, firefighters, and veterans — active, retired, or formerly serving.
    • Show one valid form of service ID before signing the contract.
    • Does not pay or reduce your insurance deductible. Kansas law prohibits that on insurance-funded roof work.

    1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the $500 First Responder & Veteran Roof Discount (the “Discount”) offered by MCO Roofing LLC (“MCO Roofing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting, accepting, or applying the Discount to a service agreement, you (the “Customer”) agree to these Terms in full. The version of the Terms in effect on the date your service agreement is signed is the version that controls.

    2. Definitions

    “Eligible Service Member”
An individual who is active-duty, retired, separated, or otherwise formerly serving in good standing in one of the qualifying roles listed in Section 3.
    “Qualifying Project”
A full residential roof replacement performed by MCO Roofing on a property owned or occupied by the Eligible Service Member, with a contracted price of at least $5,000.
    “Insurance Claim Project”
Any Qualifying Project where all or part of the cost is paid by a homeowner's insurance carrier under a property-damage claim.

    3. Who Qualifies

The Discount is available to Eligible Service Members in one or more of the following categories:

    • U.S. Military Veterans & Service Members. All branches of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard), including active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and individuals separated under honorable or general (under honorable conditions) discharge.
    • Firefighters. Career, volunteer, and retired members of any municipal, county, district, or federal fire department, including wildland fire personnel.
    • Emergency Medical Personnel. Currently or previously licensed EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, and emergency-room first responders.

Customers separated under dishonorable, bad-conduct, or other than honorable conditions are not eligible. The Customer personally must hold the qualifying status; spouse, dependent, or relative status alone does not qualify, except where the Eligible Service Member is a co-signatory on the service agreement.

    4. Proof of Service & Verification

MCO Roofing will visually verify one of the following before applying the Discount and before the service agreement is signed:

    • Military DD-214, NGB-22, VA Identification Card (VHIC), or Veteran Identification Card (VIC).
    • Department-issued firefighter ID, badge, or retiree credential.
    • State-issued EMT, AEMT, or paramedic license (current or expired).
    • Other government-issued documentation reasonably evidencing eligible service, accepted at MCO Roofing's discretion.

Verification is a visual inspection only. MCO Roofing does not photocopy, scan, or retain copies of identification documents. See Section 11 (Privacy).

    5. How the Discount Is Applied

The Discount is a flat $500.00 USD credit applied as a line item against the contracted price of a Qualifying Project. It is shown on the signed service agreement and the final invoice. The Discount has no cash value, is non-refundable in cash, and may not be redeemed for any other product, service, or rebate.

    6. Insurance Deductible — Important Notice

The Discount does not pay, waive, rebate, or offset your homeowner's insurance deductible.

On any Insurance Claim Project, your full insurance deductible remains your responsibility and must be paid by you to MCO Roofing. Under Kansas law, including K.S.A. 40-2,156, a residential roofing contractor may not pay, waive, rebate, promise to rebate, or otherwise offset all or any portion of an insurance deductible on a property-damage claim. The Discount applies only to non-insurance portions of the contract price (e.g., upgrades, owner-paid scope, or non-claim work) and will not be applied in any manner that would violate Kansas law.

    7. Eligibility & Stacking Limits

    • One $500 Discount per household per Qualifying Project.
    • Applies to full roof replacements only. Repairs, partial replacements, inspections, gutter work, siding, and maintenance services do not qualify.
    • Cannot be combined or stacked with any other MCO Roofing promotional discount, referral reward, manufacturer rebate tied to price reduction, or third-party coupon, unless MCO Roofing agrees in writing.
    • Not transferable, not assignable, and has no cash redemption value.
    • Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

    8. Misrepresentation & Fraud

Any false statement, forged document, or material misrepresentation of eligibility voids the Discount immediately. MCO Roofing reserves the right to (a) revoke the Discount and re-bill the Customer for the full contract price, (b) terminate the service agreement consistent with its terms, and (c) report suspected fraudulent use of military or first-responder credentials to the appropriate authorities.

    9. Modification, Suspension & Termination of the Program

MCO Roofing may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Discount program in whole or in part at any time, with or without notice. Changes do not affect Discounts already applied to a fully executed service agreement. The version of these Terms in effect on the date the service agreement is signed governs.

    10. Relationship to the Service Agreement

These Terms describe the Discount only. They do not modify the terms of any signed MCO Roofing service agreement, warranty, scope of work, or payment schedule. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement controls with respect to the project, except that no provision of these Terms or any agreement may be interpreted to require MCO Roofing to violate Kansas law.

    11. Privacy

Service-verification documents are inspected visually and are not retained, photographed, or shared with third parties. General information you submit through our website or quote forms is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Discount shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas.

    13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
